Jennie Sutherland AKA Jenniemyma (pronounced Jeh-nee-My-Mah)
Is an established UK based, ink artist and illustrator as well as a qualifed property stager and interiors stylist.

This depth of care, follows into her products and Jennie has insisted on all products be sustainable and eco friendly where possible, with the brand ensuring they are always striving and looking for ways to support the future of the planet.
Her art is based around nature and inspired by her travels when she was a dancer, the stories from around the world and how these stories can motivate others.
Ultimately Jennie's work invokes emotions, for the space, for the Art itself and creates mood.
Jennie wants others to feel motivated, at peace and living the life they dream of.
Creating products that reflect those beliefs, brings joy and is Jennie's goal.

The meaning behind the art
Artist Jenniemyma has always been inspired by the way animals thrive in the natural world, finding motivational meanings within each of her observations around wildlife. Particularly on her travels as a dancer. Jennie became heavily inspired by world culture, natural patterns and also historical architecture, adding her own signature mono style with a dabble of muted colour palettes and striving only to draw a piece of art 'when there was a motivational story to tell'.
"Each piece of art has it's own story, look beyond the art and far deeper into the meaning behind it, let it guide you, inspire you and surround you with positivity." Jenniemyma
The early years
Jenniemyma attended Art College in the UK, before embarking on her career as a professional dancer choreoographer. Jennie was able to travel and experience the full throttle of the entertainment industry, performing all over the world, on TV, Film, Stage and Catwalk.
It would be this industry that influenced Jennie's love for intricate pattern, from the costume fabrics and embellishments, the cultural body decoration and the meaningful experiences Jennie encountered on her journey.
After her successful career, Jennie later retired from performing to focus on teaching and her love for art, as well as developing her knowledge in holistic therapies, including becoming a qualified yoga teacher, forest therapy practitioner and life coach.
As an experienced teacher Jenniemyma had always used her teaching skills over the years working with all age groups in education as well as complex and acute mental health patients in residential clinics. Jenniemyma used her art style mixed with mindfulness technique to teach as an emotional release and relaxation in her residencies and art events.
It would be these areas that would once again influence Jennie's 'meaning' and purpose and was the final piece in the jigsaw that helped to shape the brands mission.
Marrying intricate meaningful designs with sustainable materials and ensuring that the planet benefits from the brand, Jenniemyma has set out to support environmental charities and organisations who directly set targets to improve the quality of life and the planet. Jennie had also embarked on an Environment Science Degree to further her studies of the world around her.
Jennie donates to charities, specialising in positive mental health and restoration projects for local communities and environmental causes across the world.
" It is so important that my art is purposeful and helps to inspire and make a difference around the world" Jenniemyma
